On the base of the used proxy cache for streaming media, prefix cache + patching algorithm are used which is administration way for cache.Referred to operation principle of streaming media serve and used RTSP protocol. The system of proxy cache for streaming media is achieved.Experimental results show that the system can improved byte hit rate and significantly reduce the consumption of aggregate bandwidth.
