Implementation of Information Exchange in Heterogeneous Databases Using Extensible Markup Language(XML)

On updating and improving management information system(MIS) of textbooks for multi-users of Chengdu University of Technology,data exchanges between data bases of SQL Sever and Oracle are implemented by utilizing Extensible Markup Language(XML) and its feasibility is validated.Detailed introduction is given on how to implement the system and the existing problems are discussed.Operation results of the system show that heterogeneous resources in different fields can be shared by XML.
