Fault diagnosis of SS8 electric locomotives main converter based on wavelet transform

This paper establishes the emulational model of SS8 electric locomotives main converter at first,presents and adopts the features extraction method based on wavelet package for the rectifying apparatus,and constructs the character vectors.At last,the SS8 electric locomotives main converter fault-diagnosis system based wavelet is established.The result shows it is very effective in the fault diagnosis.
