Document image skew detection based on mathematical morphology

With the development of information industry,document image in digital information management is more and more important.In this paper,we will make a study on skew detection of document image and design an algorithm based on mathematical morphology and Hough transform to detect the document image skew.We also apply the algorithm print and script document image.Experiment demonstrates that the algorithm is effective.
