A Further Study on the Application of DDL in College English Translation Teaching

Data-driven learning developed from corpus linguistics plays a pioneering role in the evolution of EFL teaching,allowing the learners to indentify and induce language rules by observing numerous real corpora concordances.It becomes urgent to take advantage of this method and apply it to college translation teaching.Applying DDL to our small-sized local learner translation corpora and two authoritative parallel corpora allows the learners to appreciate the typical linguistic features in English and Chinese language and arouses their interests.As demonstrated,DDL proves a subtle effect to the revolution of college English translation teaching.
