Design and Implementation of TMS320VC5402 16-bit Parallel Boot

An important component of the DSP application system is the guidance circuit.In engineering,a simple hardware structure,cost-effective,stable and reliable guidance circuit is expected to be designed.This paper designed a 16-bit parallel guidance circuit based on TMS320VC5402DSP.This guidance circuit made use of Flash memory AM29LV800B to deposit boot table,and only a piece of not-gate integrated circuit 74HC04 was used to connect DSP and Flash.The hardware circuit structure is simple and of low cost.The parallel circuit is confirmed to be stable and reliable by actual production and experiments and had certain practical value.The storage of boot table in the Flash memory programming software and the guidance of the operation are introduced in the paper.
