Extension of RAID and optimal management for image data in vision surveillance systems with digital camera

In recent years, many scholars and producers have showed great interests in monitoring systems with digital camera, owing to their high resolution, convenience, facility, salient performance-to-price rate and abundant support software resources. However, there still exist some problems such as inconvenience resulting from large storage data in the systems etc. In order to overcome the defects, the extension of RAID and optimal management in the systems are given emphasis to while design and implementation of software and hardware in vision surveillance systems with digital camera are discussed regarding to the defects.
