Regulation of PDZK1 on scavenger receptor class B type I and its association with lipid regulating agents

PDZK1 was an adaptor protein containing four PDZ interaction domains. Scavenger receptor class B type Ⅰ( SR-BⅠ) was the first molecularly well-defined high-density lipoprotein( HDL) receptor.PDZK1 regulates the expression of SR-BⅠ at posttranscriptional level.Lipid regulating agents regulates the expression of PDZK1 and SR-BⅠ,and thus affect hypolipidemic effect of lipid regulating agents. Therefore,this paper reviews the role of PDZK1 in controlling SR-BⅠ and the research situations of its association withlipid regulating agents.
