Distributed data acquisition technology, which is widely used in seismic exploration, was introduced in electromagnetic geophysical system. The measured electromagnetic signals possess the characteristics of broadband, large dynamic range and strong interference.Low-noise analog signal conditioning circuit was designed and a high-performance data acquisition system was constructed using 24-bit Δ-Σ Analog-to-Digital Converter(ADC) and Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA).In this data acquisition system,a microcontroller with peripheral modules was used to achieve workflow control, data storage and transmission. The test results of main technical specifications, and flume model and field experiments show that the system is feasible and accurate, which meets the needs of data acquisition of distributed electromagnetic exploration.
