Application of Distributed GIS for Water Information System Based on the .NET Technology

To improve the efficiency of water management information system,combine the strengths of COM+ and .NET,construct a new four-tier distributed WebGIS model for its water information system.The system uses standard Web services description language WSDL,standard services access protocol SOAP and the standard data description language XML to solve the current technical difficulties of WebGIS such as distributed,interoperable,and so on.The improved system has advanced bottom interact protocal,good agreement with the visit ability and scalable structure that greatly improve the water system operational management and water management staffs′ efficiency.
