RESEARCH ON THE TEMPORALITY OF MONITORING AND DISPATCHING SYSTEM FOR SEA BOATS

Spatio-temporal database is organic core of temporal GIS,meanwhile,its basic theory is spatio-temporal data model. The characteristics of spatio-temporal data and spatio-temporal data model are analysed. The temporal and spatio-temporal relationship and the design thoughtway of spatio-temporal data model are studied. Then a spatio-temporal data model aiming at the mobile objects is designed, and the representation of the mobile objects' information,query and display of spatio-temporal data etc. have been implemented in sea-boat monitoring and dispatching system.
