The Extraction of Logging Curve Based on Contour Tracing

Digitization and visualization of logging curve promote the informatization of logging data. The properties of curve con-tour can be used to extract the contour of the logging curve and also can restore the original curve making use of the properties ofsecond contour. Experimental results show that the curve restored and the original curve are basically the same, which means theinformation about the curve will not lose. Therefore, this technology can be applied in the extraction of logging curve in the draw-ings and can be extended to the extraction of the curve in the general drawings.
