The Implementation of Fault Detection in Fault-Tolerant CORBA

This paper describes the implementation of fault detection in a middleware product conforming to the faulttolerant CORBA Specification 1.0. It also discusses the problems of fault detection in a distributed objectoriented computing environment,and proposes a resolution. The implementation intends to be looselycoupled, easytoexpand and easytoupgrade.
