Research of Wide Dynamic Range Compression for Digital Hearing Aid

This paper puts forward the algorithms of wide dynamic range compression for digital hearing aid(DHA) based on DSP.In this algorithms the spectrum of input signal is analyzed firstly,and then different compression algorithms are choose on different frequency according to energy.The algorithms is realized on algorithms developing platform for DHA.Experimental result of audiometry shows the algorithms are available.
