The deep development of market economy has brought about obvious changes in coal industry. Statistic information should not only meet the demand of government control, bur also provide a basis for industry strategies. Therefore, industry statistic target system and report in content and time should be changed to meet the change of statistic system. A scientific management system and network information system must be set up to ensure its operation.
