CDN System Based DNS Content Routing and Application Layer Switch
Zhao We · 2006
With a Content Delivery Network(CDN),the operator could transfer the content to the distributed edge servers and this makes it possible that clients can obtain what they want more quickly without updating the expensive core network. This paper focuses on our experiment in building a CDN network under Linux, including two main modules, content routing based on DNS and 7 layer content switching. Also we established a CDN network with both of these two kinds of technology. This architecture could shorten the response times, which is shown by the test results.
