Spread spectrum speech information hiding based on linear interference cancellation

In speech information hiding, host interference restricts the capacity of hidden information. To eliminate the speech host interference, this paper presented a spread spectrum embedding and decoding method based on extended linear interference cancellation, which was applicable to color noise host model.Based on the speech residual embedding model,a pre-cancellation operation on the watermark was employed. The new watermark was then embedded into the speech residual signal. It is verified by the theoretical analysis and the simulation that,in contrast to traditional spread spectrum speech watermarking, the speech host interference problem is solved effectively and the decoding performance is improved significantly. In addition, the proposed scheme is robust to conventional speech processing and attacks.
