Research on Automatic Adjustment of the Phase Plan in Railway Marshalling

There are many complex jobs and abnormal situations in a railway marshalling process. Moreover, it is impossible to consider all the influencing factors during establishing a phase plan. So, there will be some unexpected problems when the plan is implemented. The plans needed adjusting to increase the fulfillment rate. Accordingly, an algorithm of conflict detection was designed, and the adjustment rules were set out. The rules have been completed by the self-learning algorithm to increase the adjustment efficiency and achieved the goal of plan adjusting automatically finally.
