A Historical Relation Model of Chinese Dialects with Multiple Perspectives of Evolution,Level and Stratum

The paper proposes a new historical relation model of Chinese dialects based on the theories of pedigree tree,wave and continuous vs.discontinuous evolution with adjustments according to the peculiarities in the phonological history of the Chinese dialects,which the author believes reflect more realities of Chinese and the development of its community.It also establishes the procedures of reconstructing the phonological history of the Chinese dialects and manages to outline the general facts of the phonological history of northern common Chinese as well as some Chinese dialects with the new model.
