Design and Implement of Data Collection Module Based on SNMP

Data collection module is the basis of network management.The data,which is used in the configuration management,faculty management,performance management,account management or security management,are all from the data collection module.This paper introduces how to get the MIB′s value with SNMP++.And a new data collection strategy is proposed,which is called the data type oriented strategy,after analyzing the category of managed objects.With multi-threading technology,an efficient and steady data collection module is designed and implemented.And the approach has been verified in practical.
