Strategy Analysis of Narrow Window Drilling Technology and Practice

Difficulties of narrow window drilling existing in China's western oil fields and deepwater deep formation,had an impact and constraints of oil exploration development and drilling operation.From the definition of secure drilling,The author summarized systematically several special conditions of narrow window drilling.And then the main technical solutions were obtained from the narrow window drilling of formation features,engineering construction difficulties and shortcomings of existing application technology,and some examples of technical applications were also given,providing a practical reference for solving the problem of narrow window drilling technology.
