It is very important to communicate between computers and apparatuses in the automatic measuring system,real-time control system and monitoring system.Series-communication is the main method.Based on the engineering project,introduces a kind of principle and method of designing remote supervisory system by means of series-communication and VC++ under Windows,discusses the designing principle of hardware and software of the system is detail and gives parts of frames and program lists.
