Generating self-similar network traffic based on NS2

Aimed at the drawbacks of conventional methods in generating self-similar traffic,which were complicated to implement with slow speed and bad accuracy of generated self-similar sequence,an approach to produce self-similar traffic based on NS2 was proposed.The experiment result shows that this approach is not only easy to implement with fast speed but also the generated data have excellent self-similarity which is particularly suitable for studying the influence of self-similar traffic on queue system of a network.
