te ge C,as a gestalt structure in Chinese language,profiles the determination that some subject plans to achieves some kind of resultant condition through some action.It experiences a process of ordinal modular combinations.First,the resultant features and fixed quantity of C generate the intentionality;then,the autonomy and future tense of V and the intentionality of C result in the programmatic feature of VC;finally,the programmatic feature of VC and ta and ge's enlarging surface distance lead to the determined meaning of the structure,which can react on C.The reaction generates the subjective polarity quantity.The determined meaning of the structure matches the modality meaning of ta.
