Transit beamforming for CDMA using the up link channel state

This paper is based on the fact that bidirectional commonalty holds between up link and down link channel states in CDMA mobile communication. The down link signal sub space state is defined by the up link signal sub space decomposition, and then down link beam forming weights are generated. This method proposed requires neither the detection of other signals nor the knowledge about average signal strength information. The performance of algorithms proposed is illustrated by computer simulation.
