A node localization algorithm of wireless sensor networks for coal mine monitoring

Self-localization between network nodes of wireless sensor networks for coal mine safety monitoring is realized by using DV-Hop algorithm.An improved node localization algorithm is proposed and optimized,aimed at the specific requirements of coal mine safety monitoring applications to wireless sensor networks.The DV-Hop localization algorithm based on distance error correcting value is introduced.The communication expense between nodes is low by this algorithm.It is appropriate to the uneven distribution of network scenarios.Simulation results indicate that the optimized algorithm improve the node positioning precision effectively.
