Research on TPC Algorithm in a Dense WLAN Environment

In this paper, a new Transmit Power Control algorithm is introduced in detail. TPC algorithm can optimize the parameters and adjust transmit power dynamically, according to the degree of self-interference. Thus it can improve the system capacity adaptively. The paper gives the process of this algorithm and simulates it in WLAN. The result of simulation indicates that TPC can improve total throughput in a dense and non-uniform load WLAN system.
