Linear Congruential Interleavers Design for OFDM-IDMA System
Tao Liu · 2012
Interleaver Division Multiple Access(IDMA)is a new multiple access technology. Each user in the system is assigned a different interleaver.Multi-User Detector(MUD) distinguishes users by interleavers. It can be seen as a special kind of Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) system with low complexity, less number of computations and high spectral efficiency.Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing-Interleaver Division Multiple Access(OFDM-IDMA) inherits advantages of IDMA,and reduces Bit Error Rate(BER) in multipath channel.OFDM-IDMA system based on Linear Congruential Interleavers uses simple Linear Congruential Generator(LCG) to assign interleavers to different users for ensuring the system performance while saving system resource.
