Development of Management Information System of Water Resources Based on WebGIS

With the rapid development of the Web and GIS technologies, it has been feasible and necessary to design a water resouce information managing system based on WebGIS.The WebGIS's solution based on the ArcIMS is researched in this paper,and Dujiangyan water resouce WebGIS is built,which make the resources data and analysis function of GIS from local management,closed use to open management,network share.This paper introduces the system development platform and environment first,then describes the system design goal and structure,and technical process.At last,the realization of system functions are introduced.
