Study on Multi-E1 Channel Transmit Ethernet based on CPCI

Most IPoverE1-equipment has no CPCI interface.This paper,with RC6105 as conversion chip,proposes a design with CPCI interface in which four E1 channels transport one ethernet data.Thus the equipment and industrial controllers could be seamlessly connected through the CPCI bus.This paper describes an overall solution for CPC-based multi-E1 channel transporting ethernet data,which involves the PHY and MAC equipment connection related to the MII port,frame-mapped generic framing procedure,ethernet frame encapsulation mapping,reorganization and recovery.
