Semantic Service Description of Weapon Coordination System Based on SOA

Well coordination of weapons can maximize the whole effectiveness of the combat units.SOA has some characteristics of loose coupling,interoperability and reusability,which can just satisfy the requirement of the weapon coordination system.The problems of semantic description of weapon coordination ontology and combat service were discussed according to the existing centralized system of weapon coordination.Firstly,the whole architecture of weapon coordination system was introduced.Then the weapon coordination ontology was constructed based on the process of the operations of weapon coordination,and described in OWL.Next,the method to pack and describe combat services was given through an example of cannon service.Finally,further research directions were put forward.
