To Generate the 16QAM Signal Using ADS with Instrument Connection

With the rapid development of wireless communication,in order to make more efficient use of frequency spectrum,the linear modulation methods are widely used.Many in the production or test equipments have the lower functional requirements for the signal source,the use of commercial signal source costs highly.However ADS can produce baseband data so that the technical difficulty for development of the specialized signal source is reduced,and the development costs lower.This paper will illustrate how to generate 16QAM signal with Agilent ADS simulation software and ESG E4438C vector signal generator.The 16QAM signal is transited by a RF-transmitter,And after through the RF-transmitter,the Signal is demodulated and analysed by using the PSA E4445A series spectrum analyzer and VSA89600 series vector signal analysis software.ADS can be proved to have a variety of modulated signals,which can use as a test signal source.
