Discussion of Cognitive Radio in term of Spectrum Sensing and Resource Allocation

Cognitive radio is an intelligent wireless technology,with the capacity of finding and using the idle spectrum.It is an effective way to solve the difficulty between the growth in demand for wireless communication and the scarcity of spectrum resource. This paper describes the basic principle of cognitive radio,summaries the research in spectrum sensing and resource allocation,and discusses several key issues that needs to be solved in the development of cognitive radio.
