A Faster Algorithm Aiming at Expressing Curves Consisting of Well-proportioned Large Dataset Based on Java2D

Browsing remote seismic waveform based on B/S schema is of significance in modern seismic research and data service, and the technology should be improved urgently. The problem to access, browse and edit the waveform data on server from client only using browser has been solved. Especially, the authors focus on the shortcoming of Java2D in expressing waveform data, and then propose a faster algorithm aiming at expressing curves consisting of well-proportioned large dataset. At last, an example of the algorithm in practice is given.
