AN Jian-ping · Telecommunication Engineering · 2004
The mobile multimedia communications in the future need a great deal of spectrum resource. Cognitive radio is a special extent of software radio, which uses a new protocol called radio-etiquette protocol, that can flexibly pool radio spectrum. This paper introduces the architecture of radio-etiquette protocol and analyses cognitive radio's potential contribution to spectrum pooling.
