The principle of GPS Virtual Reference Station and the testing and analysis of actual measured accuracy

Zhiqiao Chang · Engineering of Surveying and Mapping · 2009

The paper first introduces the limitation of GPS RTK technology and analyzes the basic principle and mathematics model of Virtual Reference Station based on GPS continuously operating reference station. It figures out the positioning result of rove station according to the integrative raw observation data of the VRS got by total error linear interpolation method. And then,it makes dynamic and static accuracy analysis on actual measured data from the VRS built in a certain city.At last,it draws a conclusion that the VRS technology expands the application range of GPS RTK and improves the accuracy of dynamic measurement. And its open data service make VRS technology become one of main developing directions of Network RTK.
