Design and Application of Liaoning Provincial Practical Flood Forecasting System

Liaoning provincial practical flood forecasting system(hereinafter short for system) is designed based on existing forecasting scheme,and is mainly for realizing automatic computer controlled forecasting of existing forecasting scheme.Through analyzing and researching forecasting scheme and customer needs,system main functions are determined.The article makes a detailed introduction on general structure,database design and software application situation of the system aiming at exchanging experiences in flood forecasting program development to promote process of hydrological forecasting automation.
