Practicing in management and transmission of dynamic real-time flood prevention and meteorological information in GIS

Flooding and some other natural disasters frequently occur in our extensive and complex environmental condition.It has become one of the very important factors that restrict our country's sustainable development.In order to control flood and prevent disasters in advance,assessment of the data from hydrographic and meteorological stations,and analysis of the above information with the basic geographic information,should be processed and improved.This paper introduces some practical functions about flood prevention and disaster decreasing in the assistant spatial decision-making system.It also presents some developed modules about hydrographic and weather forecasting information which are time-depending can be automatically transmitted and integrated with GIS and visualized.
