Research on Selection Method of Resistance Strain Gages for PCB

There are many types of resistance strain gauge with different functions,it is difficult for the users to find a suitable one.A selection method was proposed to enable rapid searching of suitable resistance strain gages for PCB(printed circuit board) strain measurement,by combining the manufacturer's model coding system and consolidated considerations from the types of resistance strain gauge based on the sensitive grid materials,base materials,resistance value,size,sensitive grid structural shape and measurement environment temperature etc.At the same time,as most of the electronic manufactures have no specialized resistance strain gauge calibration equipment,a set of simple and practical resistance strain gauge calibration tools are introduced,and the feasibility of the calibration method is proved.
