This paper expounded that how to realize the access to hardware device by MS-DOS application under Windows 98/2000,and analysed VxD technology and operation principle in Windows 98,VDD technology and operation principle in Windows 2000 in detail,and how to utilize VxD and VDD technology to finish visit to hardware equipment port.
