MV-Algebras, BL-Algebras, R_0-Algebras, and Multiple-Valued Logic

Three different definitions of MV algebra are proved to be equivalent to each other. The logic background of MV algebras, BL algebras, and R 0 algebras are analysed. Moreover, several questions worthy to be investigated are proposed.
