Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNS) as an emerging technology will have a wide range of potential applications including military surveillance, environment monitoring, object tracking, scientific observiation and forecasting and etc. However, there are several practical constraints in implementing various protocols and application systems.Power is identified as one of the most expensive resources.Due to the large scale and the remote or hostile environment,it is impractical to recharge or replace power supply.Since the lifetime of a WSN directly lies on consumption of the power, efficient deployment could enhance better coverage of region of interest and prolong the lifetime of network. This paper mainly focuses on the challenging object that how to save power by deploying the sensor nodes efficiently.Sensor probability perception model and virtual force algorithm(VFA) are introduced in this paper.Basically the nodes are defined as particles in force field.According to mutual forces between the nodes, the particles are driven to move. The network is covered by sensors proportional after executing the improved VFA algorithm. Finally the network achieves the goal of efficient energy with move distances and enables the network proportional covered as well as extends the lifetime.
