Cycle time assignment of nonlinear discrete event dynamic systems and coloring condensation graph

For nonlinear discrete event dynamic systems (DEDS) described by maxmin function, a coloring condensation graph method is presented. This method proves that the number of different cycle times equals the number of condensation points. A sufficient and necessary condition that cycle time can be assigned independently by state feedback is given, which solves the problem corresponding to the pole assignment problem in traditional linear control systems. This result is also used in linear DEDS to obtain assigned region and decreased cycle times.
