Grey Estimation of Measurement Uncertainty

A novel method using grey theory to characterize the measurement uncertainty is proposed. The method permits an accurate estimation of the uncertainty under the conditions that the measurement number is small and the probability distribution unclear. The feasibility of the method is validated by practical examples.
