Research and Implementation of the Encoding Algorithm for Barcode PDF417

The difficulties of encoding barcode PDF417 are introduced, such as compaction mode switching and subschema switching, error correction code calculation. The data compression algorithms in text mode,byte mode and number mode are implemented, an optimization encoding algorithm of the shortest length of codewords is presented,and an optimization check-table algorithm is presented for calculating error correction code words using the Reed Solomon techniques.
