Simulation Research of Seismic Response of Urban Lifeline Engineering on GIS Basis——A case study on water supply system in Shanghai

The application of geographic information system (GIS) to simulation research on seismic response of urban lifeline engineering is discussed. Under the background of water supply system in the area circled by Shanghai inner viaduct, hazard prediction of water supply network is studied by analysis of network reliability. Furthermore, the graphic development and visual simulation information system of seismic response of water supply network in Shanghai are built.
