Research on image digital watermarking methods based on SVD

Singular value decomposition (SVD) is one kind of special matrix transformation. The singular values of image matrix have great stability, and indicate the inherence of image, which enables them to be applied in the digital watermark domain. At present, digital watermarking technology based on the SVD has attracted many researchers, who have much research work with good watermark algorithms which have strong robustness and the anti-attack character. Two quite typical algorithms are compared and analyzed, proposed ways in which digital watermarking is designed in the SVD domain, and digital watermarking technology's development direction in the SVD domain in future is given.
