Design of the Decimal Frequency Synthesizer Based on ADF4157

This article introduced the principle and design method of decimal division frequency synthesizer which was developed from the phase lock technique chip ADF4157.The Monolithic integrated circuit ATS9C51 was taken as the peripheral circuit,which solved the contradiction between the big phase demodulation frequency and the small frequency interval in the frequency synthesizer.The elctrical circuit is simple and practical.The simulation results indicated that it does not worsen the phase noise characters,the loop circuit gain and phase margin are quite good,and the frequency resolution is enhanced.
