Research on the low power mechanism in MAC protocols of WSN

Nodes in wireless sensor networks(WSN) use batteries as their energy supply,which restrains their energy consumption.The energy control mechanism is performed by the MAC layer and the routing layer,but the MAC layer is more direct and frequent in the energy control than the routing layer.In this paper,aiming at energy conserving,the factors concerning energy consumption in WSN MAC protocols are analyzed,and the low power design methods are studied.
