Study on adaptive rate control scheme in WPAN system

This paper analyzes the interference model of WPAN application environment firstly, then proposes the scheme of using adaptive rate control method as a solution to improve jamming rejection performance in WPAN systems. The new solution can also reduce mutual interferences among various WPAN systems. Using bluetooth system as an example, the performance of new scheme is given by the bit error probability. Simulation result shows that comparison with fixed rate scheme, the optimum bit error probability of adaptive rate control has a reduction of 1~2 exponential quantity, under perfect feedback condition. The obtained results can also be used in other WPAN system.
